Researching the immune system.

Every day, our immune system is busy protecting our body from a variety of pathogens (viruses, bacteria and fungi, etc.) and regulating how we deal with them. The immune system also plays a decisive role in tumor and autoimmune diseases.

Together with the team from the FSU's Associate Professorship of Sports Medicine and Health Promotion, we invite young and old to explore the immune system in a playful way. You can see individual immune cells, get to know the craft of research, put yourself in the role of a pathogen and understand the influence of sport, nutrition and sleep on the immune system.
