Änderungen der Halterdaten und technische Änderungen melden

Haben Sie technische Änderungen an Ihrem Fahrzeug vorgenommen, müssen diese eingetragen werden.

Ebenso müssen Änderungen Ihrer persönlichen Daten bzw. der Daten des Unternehmens als Halter eines Fahrzeuges, zum Beispiel durch Namensänderung oder Umzug innerhalb Jenas, in die Fahrzeugpapiere dokumentiert werden. Die alleinige Änderung Ihrer Anschrift können Sie auch online beantragen.

Change of personal data - keeper

Changes in the personal details of the vehicle keeper (change of name and address) must be entered in the vehicle register and in the vehicle documents. This obligation exists in principle (§ 13 Para. 1 FZV).

Change of technical data - vehicle

If technical changes have been made to your vehicle, it is usually necessary to amend the vehicle register and the vehicle documents. This obligation exists in principle, unless something else is noted in the documents for the add-on part (mostly general operating permit of the manufacturer in conjunction with expert opinion in accordance with §19 Para. 3 StVZO).

Change of personal data - holder

  • Vehicle registration document or registration certificate Part I
  • Vehicle registration document or registration certificate part II - If there is only a change of address within the registration district, the ZB II does not need to be submitted. This does not apply if a vehicle registration document exists, which must be exchanged in any case.
  • Certificate of valid general inspection (original)
  • General documents on the vehicle owner, showing the respective changes.

Change of technical data - vehicle

  • Vehicle registration document or registration certificate Part I
  • Vehicle registration certificate or registration certificate part II
  • General operating permit of the add-on part / expert opinion / manufacturer's certificate (documents in which the modification or correction or add-on acceptance is documented)
  • Certificate of the valid general inspection (original)
  • General documents on the vehicle owner (see Downloads)

Document issue - without an appointment

Documents that have already been applied for and are now ready for collection (passport, ID card and eID card as well as documents from the driving license authority) can be collected from reception during opening hours without an appointment.

Other requests with an appointment

An appointment must be booked for personal visits for other matters. This can be done online or by telephone.

The registration authority uses special adhesive seals with special security features for the vehicle documents. This increases the total fees by € 0.30 per adhesive seal used.
