Developers from SmartDyeLivery GmbH explain how nanoparticles can be used to treat liver failure and cancer.

In the case of liver failure or cancer, the targeted transport of active substances to the affected organ is crucial. On the one hand, the active ingredient should be delivered as efficiently as possible to the affected tissue, and on the other hand, other organs should not be damaged by side effects.

The Jena-based company SmartDyeLivery has developed small nano-containers for this precise transport with which active ingredients can be transported directly to a target cell and delivered in a well-dosed manner.

At the LNDW, the SmartDyeLivery developers from the InfectoGnostics research campus will explain how the small nanoparticles work using a large model that you can touch and explain possible medical applications of the technology.
