The latest medical knowledge on symptoms, risk factors and early detection through to diagnosis, treatment and aftercare for breast cancer - presented in an easy-to-understand way

Around one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. This is often a shock at first and causes great anxiety and worry. It is good to know that first-time, localized breast cancer can be treated with a good chance of recovery. The lecture sheds light on the prevention and early detection of the disease, addresses risk factors and the diagnostic options. It presents the course of the disease and its classification and looks in detail at modern treatment methods and aftercare.

Time: Lecture 19.30 hrs
Place: House E, SR 8, meeting point in the Breast Center
