City center: For the LNDW Jena, we are putting on the performance "Dance the Light" again. Anyone can try it out in the entrance area of the Ernst Abbe Tower.

With "Dance the Light", an installation in the foyer of the Ernst-Abbe-Hochhaus at the LNDW Jena invites guests to join in: The interactive immersive installation consists of a webcam, a black box and a screen on which the silhouette of the performer is then "painted" in light.

The installation thus resembles an alienated mirror image. The performers immerse themselves in their own audiovisual world in a play of colors and shapes, can move to the music and thus project their images.

Another installation in the entrance area of the Jenoptik high-rise invites visitors to create their own video performance using hand movements. The coordination of eyes, hands and hearing becomes a special experience.

The program will be put together by our Jenoptik employee Manuel Glybowski, who is active as a video artist and VJ under the alias Kurt Komell.
