The more comprehensive the complaint details are, the easier and quicker it is to establish the facts and process the complaint. If the matter does not fall within the area of responsibility of the immission control authority, you will be informed of the competent body.

The lower immission control authority is not responsible for behaviour-related disturbances (e.g. by listening to loud music outdoors or in the apartment), the smell caused by the spreading of liquid manure or pesticides in the field or in the case of violations of the Ordnungsbehördliche Verordnung zur Aufrechterhaltung der öffentlichen Sicherheit und Ordnung in der Stadt Jena (PDF).
