Compensation for interventions

• Compensation or replacement must be provided for interventions in nature and the landscape, e.g. by unsealing paved areas, planting trees or similar measures.
• While compensatory measures are carried out as simultaneously as possible in the vicinity of the intervention, the spatial and temporal relationship is loosened in the case of replacement measures.
• Compensation can also be carried out via the eco-account or the compensation area pool of the city of Jena or the ImPulsRegion Erfurt-Weimar-Jena.
• Interventions in nature and landscape are subject to approval. They must be compensated according to the balancing model for Thuringia.
