Bank transfer

Note

When making a bank transfer, please state the personal account, general ledger account, cash reference number, booking reference number from the notice, invoice or request for payment.

Direct debit procedure (SEPA mandate procedure) / SEPA direct debit mandate

The municipality of Jena is pleased to offer its debtors the possibility to have payments collected by direct debit. These direct debit collections are arranged centrally by the accounting and enforcement department due to the monetary claims of the administrative departments. Only here can

• direct debit mandates can be submitted
• direct debit mandates can be changed
• direct debit mandates can be cancelled.

Advantages

• Individual transfers can be omitted,
• no additional costs,
• overpayments are avoided,
• Refund claims are executed promptly,
• Right to cancel within eight weeks of debit in the event of errors via own bank

Mandatory requirements

• Direct debit mandate must currently still be submitted in original with personal signature of account holder
• The direct debit mandate can be changed or withdrawn at any time in writing with the personal signature of the account holder.
• EThe transmission by fax or e-mail is currently not legally permissible.

Cash machines for cash deposits and cash withdrawals

Note 1: For cash deposits and construction payments, please have the appropriate cash card issued in advance by the clerk responsible for the service.

Note 2: Cashless payments can also be made with cash cards and Giro-Cards at both cash machines.

Card payment

Card payments can be made at 24 terminal locations in various administrative offices and centrally at Löbdergraben 12 and Am Anger 28. Accepted are

• Cash cards
• Girocard and
• Visa and Mastercard credit cards

Online payment

Currently, the city of Jena only offers the possibility to pay online for the application for resident parking. Currently accepted are
