Everyone has made something out of paper or cardboard with glue before. But can you also glue glass and metal together?

Bonding is the oldest joining process - two parts are joined together using an adhesive. The process is still relevant today and is often used in industry. At ifw Jena, we deal with various adhesives and how different materials such as glass, metal or ceramics can best be bonded together. Together with your children, you can try out for yourself what can be glued together: After you have cut out and prepared templates for your new Christmas decorations with the laser, glue them together with the right adhesive to create small works of art and take the finished decorative objects home with you.
