Information on buying tickets
We will inform you when tickets are available for the next Long Night of Sciences in Jena (probably 2024).
Take the opportunity and purchase your admission ticket for the Long Night of Sciences Jena in advance at a reduced price at the Jena Tourist Information, in the Unishop of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena or directly online! The event ticket also serves as a ticket for Jena's public transport system.

Admission is free up to the age of 16**. |
* Students, pupils, Jenapass holders, severely disabled persons, trainees, employees in the Federal Voluntary Service and senior citizens are entitled to a discount. If severely disabled people are dependent on the assistance of an accompanying person, admission is free of charge for this accompanying person.
** Children and schoolchildren up to and including the age of 16 receive free admission after purchasing a free ticket in the form of an admission wristband (in advance or at the box office). This free ticket is also valid as a ticket.
Please note! Admission to the events is only possible with an admission wristband! print@home online tickets must be exchanged in advance.

Box offices
Tickets in the form of admission wristbands can still be purchased on the evening of the Long Night of Science Jena. The Jena Tourist Information Office will be open until 22:00. From 17:00 the box office prices apply. So make sure you get your admission wristbands in good time!
Additional box offices will be available on the evening of the event (November 25, 2022) from 18:00 to 22:00 at the following locations
- Analytik Jena, Konrad-Zuse-Straße 1
- Beutenberg Campus, Abbe-Center Jena, Hans-Knöll-Straße 1
- Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena, Carl-Zeiß-Promenade 2 (House 2, main entrance)
- Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Ernst-Abbe-Platz/Carl-Zeiß-Straße 3
Through the night by streetcar and bus
Travel comfortably through the night by streetcar and bus
With the LNDW ticket, you and your children can use all buses, streetcars and local trains within Jena (VMT tariff zone 30) free of charge for 10 hours from 16:00 on the day of the event until 2:00 the following day.
So that you can get to your event highlights at "almost the speed of light", the regular timetable for line 10 will be extended for the Long Night of Science Jena between 18:00 and 24:00 (last journey reaches the collective connection at 0:30 in the city center).

Furthermore, an additional bus service between Burgaupark - Göschwitzer Straße - Rudolstädter Straße - Burgaupark will be set up as a circular route every 20 minutes (connection to journeys on line 10) with the following stops: Burgaupark (bus and streetcar interchange) - Alte Burgauer Brücke - Ernst-Ruska-Ring - Jenoptik replacement stop - Konrad-Zuse-Straße - Göschwitz - Jena21 - Winzergasse - Winzerla (streetcar interchange) - Freizeitbad - Burgaupark

By attending the Long Night of Science Jena, visitors agree to the creation, reproduction and transmission of images of their person as part of the event and to their use for the organizer's own purposes without any claim to remuneration. In detail, this means: for PR, editorial and advertising purposes in publications, print media, on posters and advertisements as well as on the Internet and Web 2.0. This provision also applies to underage spectators who attend the event accompanied by their legal representatives or legal guardians. These consents are unlimited in terms of time and place.
Press information
You can now apply for accreditation for the Long Night of the Sciences 2022 in Jena. The application period runs until November 23, 2022.
Press accreditation is available to LNDW reporters from all media sectors (print & online media, TV & radio and photo). With the accreditation you guarantee the provision of specimen copies of your publications.
Accreditation is possible for qualified journalists with a valid press card who can prove a professional interest in the event and meet the accreditation requirements. The organizer will decide on a limited allocation of accreditation without a press card.
Please complete the online accreditation form and send it to pr@jena.de by 23.11.2022 .
Based on your application, you will receive a confirmation email and your accreditation badge.
