AVATAR: Anonymization of personal health data by creating digital avatars

Visitors can explore the virtual AVATAR world (Open Science Lab) with VR glasses and find out more about the project and the partners involved. In the virtual environment, visitors can playfully get to know some approaches to anonymization and their potential applications.

On site, scientists will explain, among other things, the AVATAR application example "Diagnostics of infectious diseases" and explain how DNA sequencing works and why anonymization plays an important role there too.

Visitors can also take part in a survey on health data sharing and data donation and talk to the project partners.
