"Psychotherapy is kind of a scary thing. All you do is play or lie around on the couch anyway." Gain an insight into the scientifically sound work of our psychotherapeutic university outpatient clinic and see for yourself.

If a child breaks a leg or has a bad cold, as a close relative you usually notice straight away that the child is not well and have an idea of what help is needed. The situation is different with illnesses that have a negative impact on feelings, thoughts and behavior and are not visible at first glance. Sometimes affected children and young people themselves do not know why they feel the way they do and what is going on. This, in turn, can have a lasting effect on the child's/adolescent's everyday life, but can also throw family life out of balance. In this case, psychotherapy can help. But what actually happens in psychotherapy? Why do we have feelings and why do they sometimes overwhelm us? When do we start talking about mental illness and what can we do to stay mentally healthy? What does psychotherapy have to do with science? We would like to answer all these questions as part of a colorful hands-on program and cordially invite you to join us. We look forward to your visit - there is something for every age group! For children, young people, parents, teachers and everyone who works with children and young people.
